Due to the detection of West Nile Virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayers to control adult mosquitoes on the evening of Thursday, October 26, 2017 in the following area:

TIME: Between dusk (approximately 7:00 p.m.) and 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.

LOCATION: Martinez Waterfront

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by the Carquinez Strait; on the south by Marina Vista Avenue; on the east by Pacheco Creek; and on the west by Ferry Street.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4, RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck-mounted,ultra-low volume sprayers. This area will be sprayed between dusk (approximately 7:00 p.m.) and 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Due to the detection of West Nile Virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayers to control adult mosquitoes, weather permitting.

TIME: Between dusk (approximately 7:45 p.m.) and 11:30 p.m., weather permitting.

LOCATION: Brentwood

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Balfour Road; on the south by Armstrong Way and Armstrong Road; on the east by Walnut Boulevard; and on the west by Crescent Drive.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4, RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayer. This area will be sprayed between dusk (approximately 7:45 p.m.) and 11:30 p.m., weather permitting.

ANTIOCH:

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Jacobsen Street; on the south by East 18th Street; on the east by Hargrove Street; and on the west by West Lake Place.

MATERIALS USED: The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4, RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayers.

DISCOVERY BAY:

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Willow Lake Road and Marina Road; on the south by Wayfarer Drive; on the east by Cherry Hills Drive; and on the west by Discovery Bay Boulevard and Clipper Drive.

MATERIALS USED: The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4, RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayers.

LOCATION: Discovery Bay

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Lakeview Circle and Castle Rock Loop; on the west by Bixler Road; on the east by Open Fields.; and on the south by Wilde Drive and Wilde Court.

MATERIALS USED: The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4, RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayers.

Due to the high numbers of mosquitoes in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck to control adult mosquitoes on the morning of May 11, 2017 between 4:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., weather permitting, in the following areas:

Bethel Island and Oakley:

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Willow Road and Levee Road; on the west by Taylor Road, Levee Road and Sandmound Boulevard; on the east by Stone Road and Willow Road; and on the south by Wells Lane and Sandmound Boulevard.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4, RTU  applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayers.

Due to the high numbers of mosquitoes in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayers to control adult mosquitoes on the morning of April 5th, 2017 between 4:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., weather permitting, in the following area:

LOCATION:  Point Pinole Regional Shoreline

The area to be treated is bordered on the north and west by San Pablo Bay; by the Union Pacific Railroad on the east; and on the south by the East Bay Regional Park District boundary.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4, RTU  applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck-mounted, ultra-low volume sprayers.

Martinez Waterfront

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Carquinez Strait; on the east by Highway 680; on the south by Shell Avenue; and on the west by Alhambra Avenue.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4 RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck. This area will be sprayed between 4 a.m and 6:30 a.m., weather permitting.
