Due to the high numbers of mosquitoes and the presence of West Nile Virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by hand-held ultra low volume sprayers and by ultra low volume truck-mounted sprayers to control adult mosquitoes on the evening of Wednesday, September 28th, 2016, weather permitting in the following area(s):

Bethel Island/North East Oakley

The area to be treated is Stone Road, Bethel Island and Wells Lane; and Sandmound Boulevard, Oakley.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4 RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre.This area will be sprayed between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Due to the high number of mosquitoes and the detection of West Nile virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging with hand held ultra low volume (ULV) sprayers to control adult mosquitoes on the evening of Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 between the hours of 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the following area:

Knightsen (Holland Tract Marina):

The area to be treated is bordered on the South and East by Holland Tract Road, on the North and West by agricultural land.

The insecticide to be used in these areas is Zenivex E4; applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by a hand held ultra low volume sprayer. This area will be sprayed between the hours of 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Due to the high numbers of mosquitoes and the presence of West Nile virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by hand-held ultra low volume sprayers and by ultra low volume truck-mounted sprayers to control adult mosquitoes on the night of Thursday, September 1, 2016 in the following area:

Bethel Island and Oakley:

The area to be treated is Stone Road; Bethel Island and Wells Lane; and Sandmound Boulevard.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4 RTU applied at 1.5 ounces per acre by hand-held ultra low volume sprayers and truck-mounted ultra low volume sprayers. This area will be treated between 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Due to the high numbers of mosquitoes in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by hand-held ultra low volume sprayers and by ultra low volume truck mounted sprayers to control adult mosquitoes on Saturday, August 13th between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., weather permitting in the follwing areas:

Area 1: California Seasons Park (Pittsburg)

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Seasons Way; on the east by Seasons Drive; on the south by Cider Mill Court; and on the west by Winter Way.

Area 2: Deanza Park (Pittsburg)

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Trident Drive; on the east by East Trident Drive; on the south by Leeward Place; and on the west by Nautilus Place.

Area 3: Pittsburg

The area to be treated is boarded on the north by Andrea Way; on the east by Bodega Drive; on the south by Delta View Golf Course property; and on the west by John Henry Johnson Parkway.

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Rock Ridge Way; on the east by Begonia Court; on the south by Daffodil Drive; and on the west by Jacqueline Drive.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4, RTU  applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by hand-held ultra-low volume sprayers and truck mounted ultra-low volume sprayers. This area will be sprayed between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Due to the high number of mosquitoes and the detection of West Nile virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging with hand held ultra low volume (ULV) sprayers to control adult mosquitoes on the morning of August 5th, 2016 in the following areas:

Holland Tract Marina:

The area to be treated is bordered on the south and east by Holland Tract Road; on the north and west by agricultural land.

The insecticide to be used in this area is Zenivex E4 applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by a hand held ultra low volume sprayer. This area will be sprayed between dawn (approximately 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.) weather permitting.

Byron / Discovery Bay Agriculture Lands (2 areas):

Area 1: Sewage treatment facility and agricultural land east of Discovery Bay.

This area to be treated is bordered on the north by Indian Slough; on the east by agricultural land; on the south by Highway 4; and on the west by the Discovery Bay sewage facility and levee to the north.

Area 2: This area to be treated is approximately 2.5 miles south of Highway 4 and one mile east of Byron Highway.

The insecticide to be used in these areas is Zenivex E4 applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by a hand held ultra low volume sprayer. This area will be sprayed between dawn (approximately 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.) weather permitting.

Due to the high number of mosquitoes in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck to control adult mosquitoes on the morning of May 4, 2016 in the following area:

Martinez

The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Carquinez Strait; on the east by Highway 680; on the south by Marina Vista Avenue and Susana Street; and on the west by Green Street.

The insecticide to be used is Zenivex E4 RTU applied at a rate of 1.5 ounces per acre by truck mounted ultra low volume (ULV) sprayer. This area will be sprayed between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting.
